Thank you for reading Litpure’s Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") for the Litpure Android Application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). This Policy is formulated and managed by the Litpure Team (hereinafter referred to as "Litpure", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining complete transparency in our data processing practices, in compliance with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements, applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, COPPA and CCPA) and Google’s Developer Program Policies.
This Policy applies to the Litpure Android App and all related services operated by Litpure (collectively referred to as the "Services"). It does not apply to services provided by external third parties (including but not limited to Google services integrated into the App). If you access third-party links, content or services through the Litpure Android App, we strongly recommend that you carefully review their respective privacy policies before disclosing any personal information.
We use clear and easy-to-understand language to help you understand this Policy and make informed decisions. If you do not agree with any terms set forth in this document, please do not access or use our Services through the Android App.
1. Types of Information We Collect
When you register an account or use our Services through the Android App, we collect various types of information. This includes information you actively provide, data obtained from third-party social platforms (including Google Account), technical and behavioral data related to your Android device usage, communication content, and—with your explicit consent—contacts stored in your Android device’s address book. The following sections explain the specific categories and sources of this information, in line with Google Play’s Data Safety disclosure requirements.
1.1 Information Provided by You
When using our Services through the Android App, you may choose to provide the following information:
- Account-related Information: When you download the Litpure Android App and create an account (including logging in with a Google Account), we may collect your customized nickname, profile photo, phone number and login credentials of associated third-party accounts (such as Google Account). All access to Google Account data complies with Google’s OAuth 2.0 policies and data access restrictions.
- Profile Information: After registration, you can choose to add information to your profile, including age, gender identity, date of birth, geographical location, sexual orientation, personal preferences, height, weight and other photos. Please be careful when sharing such information, as it will be visible to other users unless you delete your account. To upload specific content (such as photos) through the Android App, you may need to grant us permission to access your Android device’s camera, photo album or storage, in compliance with Android’s permission system and Google Play’s data access policies.
- User-Generated Content: This refers to comments, photos, videos and other materials you publish through the Services via the Android App. The visibility of such content (public or restricted) depends on the sharing channel. Most content can be deleted at any time through your account settings in the Android App. It is forbidden to upload content related to or featuring others without their explicit consent, in accordance with Google Play’s Content Policies.
- Support Communication Information: When you contact our customer service team (through in-app messaging or email), we will collect the information you provide during the communication. These communications may be monitored or recorded for staff training and service quality assurance, in compliance with applicable privacy laws and Google Play’s user communication policies.
1.2 Information Obtained from Other Channels
We may obtain your information from the following channels, in compliance with Google Play’s data collection rules:
- Other Litpure users (such as reports submitted to our customer service team through the Android App).
- Third-party service providers (including Google Play Services, analytics partners such as Google Analytics for Firebase, advertising partners and data suppliers), all of which comply with Google’s Approved Third-Party Services policies.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Services through the Android App, we or our authorized third-party partners may automatically collect the following data, in line with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements for automatic data collection disclosure:
- Usage Data: Details of your interaction with the Android App, such as login time, functions accessed, search keywords entered, click operations and interactions with other users (such as sending/receiving friend requests, message time records and message quantity). This data is only used to improve App performance and user experience.
- Device Information: Information about your Android device used to access the Services, including Android ID, Advertising ID (in compliance with Google’s Advertising ID policies), IP address, MAC address, user agent string, mobile network operator, time zone settings, device model, Android OS version, preferred language, network connection type (Wi-Fi/cellular), screen resolution and technical performance indicators (such as battery status, loading time and delay). We do not collect sensitive device identifiers (such as IMEI) without your explicit consent, as required by law.
- Message Content: When using our in-app messaging function in the Android App, we collect and process both your message content and related metadata (such as sending/receiving time and participant identities). We strongly advise you not to share sensitive or confidential information through these messaging functions, and all message data is encrypted during transmission in compliance with Google Play’s security standards.
- Other Information: With your explicit consent (granted through Android’s permission prompts), we may collect additional information, such as photos or videos you choose to share through the Services.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies and similar technologies (including SDK-based tracking tools for Android) are used to ensure the stable operation of the Android App and enhance user accessibility. They usually contain unique identifiers, App-related metadata and alphanumeric codes. Our Services may use these technologies to collect non-personal information, unless local laws classify identifiers such as IP addresses as personal data, in compliance with Google Play’s tracking and data collection policies.
We and our partners use these technologies to:
- Understand the usage patterns, frequency, in-app activity records, performance indicators and download sources (including Google Play referral data) of the Android App.
- Analyze industry trends, manage App infrastructure, track user behavior patterns (anonymized when required) and compile demographic data for App optimization.
- Deliver targeted advertisements (through Google Ads or authorized partners) based on your browsing history and personal interests, in compliance with Google’s ad targeting policies. You can opt out of interest-based advertising by adjusting your Android device’s ad settings or the App’s privacy preferences.
You can manage or disable non-essential tracking technologies through your Android device settings or the App’s privacy center. In addition, you can opt out of interest-based advertising by resetting your Google Advertising ID or adjusting App permissions.
2. Legal Basis for Data Processing and Usage
We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal basis as required by applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR, CCPA and Google Play’s data processing requirements). Our data processing activities are based on the following legal principles:
- Necessity for Performance of Contract: To provide Android App Services, enable user communication, verify your age (in compliance with COPPA and Google Play’s minor protection policies) and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate Interests: When necessary and balanced with your rights (and in compliance with Google’s data ethics requirements), we may:
- Notify you of Litpure Android App updates and new functions (through in-app notifications or email, in compliance with Google Play’s notification policies).
- Conduct research and analysis on Service usage to optimize the functions and user experience of the Android App.
- Prevent fraud, protect Service integrity (including detecting fake accounts on the Android App) and safeguard legal rights.
- Store, host and back up your information on Google Cloud Platform (or authorized cloud providers) in compliance with Google’s cloud security standards.
- Resolve disputes and respond to legal or regulatory investigations (including compliance audit requests from Google Play).
- Consent: To customize services and content according to your preferences (such as location-based functions) and comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements (including Google Play’s consent requirements for sensitive data collection). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the Android App’s privacy settings.
3. Information Sharing Methods
We do not sell your personal information (as defined by CCPA and Google Play’s anti-data selling policies). Information sharing is limited to the following scenarios, in compliance with Google Play’s data sharing requirements:
- Affiliated Entities: We may share your information within our corporate group for legitimate and clear purposes (such as App maintenance), and only to the extent necessary to provide and improve Android App Services. All affiliated entities comply with this Policy and Google’s data protection standards.
- Third-Party Partners: We disclose the minimum necessary information to trusted third-party partners (including Google Play Services, technical service providers, data storage providers (such as Google Cloud), marketing partners and SDK vendors) to improve service quality and user experience. We require these partners to comply with strict confidentiality and security standards consistent with this Policy, Google Play’s policies and applicable legal requirements. We do not share sensitive personal data (such as biometric information) with third parties without your explicit consent.
- Non-Personal Information: We may share aggregated, anonymized data (such as anonymous Android App usage statistics) with third parties for analysis, performance evaluation or business insight extraction (such as assessing service effectiveness and identifying usage trends). This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset transfer or similar corporate transaction, we will ensure that the acquiring entity continues to protect your information in accordance with the terms of this Policy and Google Play’s data transfer requirements. We will notify you through in-app notifications or emails of such transfers as required by law.
4. Cross-Border Data Transmission
Your personal information is currently stored on servers located in the United States (including Google Cloud Platform servers). With your prior authorization (as required by law) and in compliance with Google Play’s cross-border data transmission policies, we may transmit your data to other countries or regions for processing. Although these jurisdictions may have different privacy protection standards, we adopt appropriate security safeguards (including encryption, data minimization and contractual clauses compliant with GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure compliance with this Policy and relevant legal requirements. For more details about these safeguards, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your country or region of residence (including the EEA, California and other jurisdictions with data protection laws), you may enjoy the following rights under applicable privacy laws and Google Play’s user data access requirements:
- The right to be informed of the types of personal information we process and the purposes of such processing (through the Android App’s Data Safety section, in compliance with Google Play’s disclosure rules).
- The right to request access to a copy of the personal data we hold about you (in a machine-readable format, in accordance with GDPR/CCPA requirements).
- The right to delete your data under certain circumstances (including account deletion through the Android App, in compliance with Google Play’s data deletion requirements).
- The right to restrict data processing under limited conditions (such as when we verify the accuracy of your data).
- The right to data portability (a machine-readable copy for transfer to another service provider, compatible with Android ecosystem standards).
- The right to object to data processing (such as based on legitimate interests or marketing), including opting out of in-app marketing communications through the App’s settings.
- The right to human intervention in automated decision-making (including profiling) as required by law.
The specific rights you enjoy may vary depending on your jurisdiction. You can access and modify most of your profile information by logging into your Litpure Android App account. To exercise other rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer. We may require you to verify your identity (through secure methods compliant with Google Play’s identity verification standards) before processing your request. If you have unresolved concerns about our data practices, you have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority or contact Google Play Support for App-related privacy issues.
6. Information Protection Measures
We have implemented a complete set of administrative, technical and physical security measures (compliant with Google Play’s App Security Program) to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256) for all personal data stored in the Android App and our servers.
- Compliance with Android’s secure application development guidelines to prevent data leakage and vulnerabilities.
- Regular security audits and penetration testing of the Android App conducted by Google-authorized third-party institutions.
- Access control that restricts employees’ access to personal data to only those with legitimate business needs.
We regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and security threats, and continuously upgrade our security protocols to address emerging risks (including Android OS security updates). Although we strive to provide the highest level of data security, no electronic transmission or data storage method is completely secure. In the event of a data breach, we will comply with all applicable legal reporting obligations (including notifying Google Play and relevant data protection authorities) and take immediate action to mitigate potential harm. As required by law, we will promptly notify you of the breach and its potential impact through in-app notifications, emails or SMS, in compliance with Google Play’s breach notification requirements.
Please note that we are not responsible for the security of data collected or processed by third parties (including Google services). If you find third-party content through our Services that poses a privacy risk, please notify us immediately through the Android App’s reporting function or our customer service email.
7. Data Retention Period
We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of collection, including providing Android App Services, fulfilling contractual obligations or pursuing legitimate business interests—in compliance with Google Play’s data retention policies. When you delete your account through the Android App, we will take reasonable measures to remove your personal information from our active systems and make it inaccessible within 30 days (or a shorter period as required by law). However, please note that information you have shared with other users may still be stored on their Android devices.
In some cases, we may retain your data for a longer period to comply with legal obligations (such as tax or audit requirements), resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service. Although we aim to delete unnecessary data promptly, technical limitations (such as backup retention) may prevent immediate deletion. After you stop using the Litpure Android App, we may retain aggregated, anonymized data for analysis or business purposes (in compliance with Google Play’s data retention rules), which cannot be linked to individual users.
8. Minors’ Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (or a higher minimum age specified by the laws of your jurisdiction), in strict compliance with COPPA and Google Play’s Family Policy and minor protection requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors or market our Services to minors. We adopt age verification measures (as required by law) during the registration of the Android App to prevent minors from creating accounts. If we find that a minor has registered an account and provided personal information, we will immediately terminate the account and delete the relevant data (in compliance with Google Play’s minor account deletion rules). If you believe a minor has used our Services, please contact us immediately to request account deletion.
9. Policy Updates
We may revise this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, technological progress, Android OS updates or legal and regulatory requirements (including Google Play policy updates). We will publish the updated version on our website and in the Litpure Android App (through the "Privacy Policy" section in App settings), and notify you of material changes through in-app notifications (or emails as required by law). Your continued use of the Litpure Android App after the implementation of the changes shall be deemed as your acceptance of the revised Policy. As required by law (such as GDPR), we will seek your explicit consent (through a pop-up prompt in the Android App) before implementing significant changes to our personal data processing methods.
10. Contact Information
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about this Policy or our data processing practices for the Android App, please contact our Data Protection Officer via email: nuonlineacademy@gmail.com.com.
We will endeavor to respond to all valid inquiries within 15–30 working days after verifying your identity (in compliance with Google Play’s user support standards). Complex issues may require additional time, and we may need to collect more information to provide a comprehensive response.
